Arts and Culture is a vital part of our mental and physical health and well-being, our economic story and to our sense of our selves as a community, region and nation.
Many arts and culture organizations are struggling as the world has moved beyond the pandemic, with governments removing supports, but not recognizing that the recovery for arts and culture will take a number of years. The cracks that have been shown in our society through the pandemic affect us all, but because of historic underfunding arts and cultural organizations, which are mostly non profit have little ability to weather the ongoing issues.
We need your voice: the voices of individual artists and arts organizations, members, volunteers, staff, audiences and supporters to remind governments from municipal to Provincial to Federal about the value we bring, and how to work with us as part of a recovery for a robust, vibrant and sustainable community.
